Pope vs South Paulding

Boys Junior Varsity

Pope 9 - South Paulding 1

The Pope Boys JV team had another outstanding game. The boys were ahead 4-1 at halftime with goals in the first half from Amrish Nair, Jordan Lieberbaum, Grant Powell, and Gil Tohar.

The first half was only a warmup for the second half as Amrish Nair scored again. Jack Fletcher also had a goal for the Greyhounds. Not to be out done,

Jordan Lieberbaum decided that he would see if he could get a hat trick in the 2nd half...mission accomplished...three 2H goals for Jordan.

Pope JV Boys closed out their season with a record of 11 Wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie: 11-1-1.

Congratulations to the Junior Varsity Greyhounds, and it bodes well for the future of Pope Soccer as these boys move up in their soccer careers.
