JV Girls

Pope 9 - Paulding County 0

The JV Girls soccer team hosted the Paulding County Patriots Monday night, and wasted not time getting on the score board.  The Greyhounds scored seven goals in the first half.  By rule, the second half was reduced to 17:30, and Pope scored two more goals to end the game.   Sophomores, Alexa Moore  and  Gabby Stratton  both got their first Hat Tricks of the season.  The greyhound defense went virtually unchallenged, notching another shutout.  The scoring went as follows.

Varsity Girls

Pope 10 - Paulding County 0

The Varsity Girls took on Paulding County Monday night after the JV Girls.  Not wanting to be out done, by their sisters in soccer, the Varsity Girls also shutout Paulding County, and scored one additional goal for a score of 10 - 0.  Senior Midfielder  Emily Gaid  and sophomore midfielder  Randi Schroedel  both earned their first Hat Tricks of the season.  The scoring went as follows:

Varsity Boys

Pope 5 - Paulding County 0

After a scoreless first half, the Greyhounds rolled to a Region 5AAAA victory.

Franklin Robinson scored 1 minute into the second half, after an assist from Gabe Pinto. David Smith, Jonas Voet, Pablo Crump, and Ian Van Buskirk also added goals, while Tai Livnat, Franklin Robinson and Crump each added assists.

Pope Goalkeeper, Aiden Luna, had 3 saves for the Hounds, and another shutout.

Pope (6-2, 5-1) will travel to Douglas County on Friday.
